Every month we gather together craft beer consumers and perform a blind seasonal beer tasting. We will taste only Oregon made craft beer. Each beer must be available to the public in bottles, cans or on tap during the month in which the review appears.
Consumers taste each beer and write their impressions of the beers they like. After the tasting, we unveil all of the beers and answer questions about each. The top 6 to 8 beers will be featured in the following month’s Oregon Beer Growler. If your beer is not chosen by consumers, it will not be mentioned in the article. We only include positive impressions of the top beers. This is a great way to get positive publicity for the price of a few beers.
Our tasting is limited to the first 12 beers received. If we receive more than 12, we give preference to our advertisers. Please donate 80 ounces or more of your beer. You may donate more than one beer, but please note that we can only feature one beer from each brewery.
We are here to promote Oregon beers! If you donated a beer one month and were not mentioned in our review, please try, try again! Consumers who didn’t choose you one month may choose you the next!

Here’s our tasting schedule for the rest of the year.
Deadline: July 12 for the August 2013 issue: Session Beers – Send your most popular session beer, any style. The tasting will be at Horse Brass Pub in Portland on July 13.
Deadline: Aug. 1 for the September issue: Double IPAs. The tasting will be at a neighborhood barbecue in Independence.
Deadline: Sept. 10 for the October issue. Fresh Hop Beers. Members of the BING group will be tasting at Crosby’s Hop Farm, Woodburn.
Deadline: Oct. 5 for November. IPAs. Only Corvallis and Eugene-area breweries allowed to enter this Civil War contest, at Beer Stein, Eugene.
